This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

And you're still the guy who knows jack-shit about maps, right?

An old school fight! I have learned more about Dnd and rpg's in general in the last 3 and a half months than years of off and on gaming just by finding this place. The bad thing is that it's filled with assholes.

There's nothing particularly old school about it, really, and not much of a fight, either.

Yeah after the first link I believe it.

Serious question, what is the best entry point to DF and KAK? To get feel for them? DF is like ENworld and SA in being large and hard to navigate for a newbie. KAK I'm just not sure where to start even though it's smaller.

Probably depends on what you're most interested in.  I'd say avoid the General forums as an entry point, and look at the gaming-specific forums that are most interesting to you.

Personally, I find the signal to noise ratio to be better at KnK (excepting the "General Board" forum).  I hardly ever "just browse" Dragonsfoot; I tend to only read it when I'm running a search (e.g., "I want to read about weapon vs. AC in 1e AD&D").
The problem is not that power corrupts, but that the corruptible are irresistibly drawn to the pursuit of power. Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.

Thanks that's exactly the kind of info I wanted.

The troll... tries to maintain its intellectual pose... But. Can't. Fight. It's. Nature. And. Takes the bait!!!

Win to Black Vulmea!

Benoist, you'd be a hypocrite if it turned out you've been following my blog for a long time now right?

Which was the point of the thread before you and the rest of the cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest arrived.

Not really, given I haven't looked at my blog feed for ages now. But tell you what: if you weren't such a cunt, you wouldn't get all that shit thrown at you in the first place. So I'm guessing you must be pretty comfortable with it by now. Where's the problem, again?

You do notice that it didn't work as you wanted until you were removed from the equation, right?

Maybe you should consider not being such a cunt?
"Meh."

I may be cuckoo but I least I got the answers I was looking for no thanks to you.

That I have contempt for your betters in blogland, at the KKA and at Dragonsfoot might give you a hint that I don't mind what your opinion of me is.

I get the impression you and your pals here wouldn't know how to pronounce cuss words in the real world as you only began to use them furtively in your thirties online.
