This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

And who will be the 2008 judges?

EDIT: found it! http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=204417

Congrats, Zach!
And congrats to us all who have been spared from Jeff Ranger!

Congrats to Ptolus and WotC!

Sanity won this time.

Yay congrats, Zach! You've got a busy year ahead already.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number
Playing: Star Wars D20 Rev.

A lack of moderation doesn\'t mean saying every asshole thing that pops into your head.

Interesting to see that Green Ronin won the Silver Fan's Choice for Best Publisher. Mutants & Masterminds did very well across the board this year.

And congratulations to Zach!

Well done Zach!

Ooh, a winner, a winner! :D

I'm amazed that BI didn't win the free content award. Shame about Liber Fanatica too.

Thanks Clash! I was surprised that it made the shortlist, let alone ending up being the winner.

Not sure whether it'll be a useful thing to put on the freelancer CV or not, but it can't hurt can it? :D

Man Ptolus took home a boatload of awards.

Not that I'm surprised or anything, still, it was pretty dominant.

In a lot of those categories, it was really just the clear-cut favorite.

All in all, I think folks were pretty satisfied with how the awards turned out after the nomination portion.  There were some grumblings I heard when Green Ronin won in about 8 categories in a row because people got bored, but that was about it. ;)

I didn't realise you were involved in that, but I rarely read people sigs. Congratulations!

If it were me I'd be wearing a homemade gold medal and clutching an engraved trophy, haranguing shopkeepers and doormen alike for not knowing who I am. Milk it for all it's worth mate, you deserve props for your work. :)

Thanks! There were about 7 of us writing on that book, including herr arnulfe, who posts here sometimes (who i co-wrote an article with). So, i'm chuffed, but it was very much an ensemble effort. :)

Less modesty, more medal wearing! ;)

Congrats to to Herr Arnulfe, too. :)
