This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What's your favourite place in the Realms?

Quote from: RockViperThe North

Because this is where I started gaming in the Realms, and I had completely rewritten and remapped the entire area before 2E came out.

The Moonshae Islands

Its nearly a complete setting unto itself without any of the usual Realms baggage that most people get tangled up in.

Yeah, what you just said. :)

Well, except for remapping the North, but that area has been fun.
Running: HarnMaster, and prepping for Werewolf 5.

Abyssal Maw

I'm hoping that Maryland ends up with Calimshan as their portion of the Living Realms.

Why I like Calimshan? It has an exotic fantasy flavor, and a cool backstory involving Efreet. In the 3.0 book I think you could even have some Efreet blood if you were nobility.
Download Secret Santicore! (10MB). I painted the cover :)
