This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

RPG with a good “Death Knight”?

So far the only game with a death knight is Shadowdark, the Knights of Saint Ydris found in 'Zine #1.

Don't let the name fool you.  They're basically witch-knights.

I'll just stick to that.  It's not like Shadowdark isn't a popular game in the first place. I'm getting vibes that it's rivaling Old School Essentials, Basic Fantasy, and White box:Fantasy Medieval Adventure Game, and maybe even Savage Worlds.

I suppose another game with evil knights would be Rifts.  The Federation of Magic (Ohio) and Madhaven (New York City) sourcebooks both feature the Mystic Knights.  They're basically evil spell-swords/Red Wizards aka Final Fantasy.

Or play as Sith in a Star Wars RPG.
I'm glad for you if you like the top selling game of the genre.  Me, I like the road less travelled, and will be the player asking we try a game you've never heard of.
