This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What RPG would you want to see?

Quote from: DeadUematsu;290546I would like to see Spycraft sourcebooks for the The Destroyer and The Executioner book series.

That would be the shit! I love Mack Bolan the Executioner.

You know what other book series that just came to mind that would be a sweet RPG. Deathlands.
Vive la mort, vive la guerre, vive le sacré mercenaire

Ronin\'s Fortress, my blog of RPG\'s, and stuff

Yes. A non-GURPS Hellboy RPG, I'd go for it.

CthulhuTech is totally awesome. I'm a die hard HPL fan, like many of you I'm sure, and I just loved how inventive the authors were with the Cthulhu Mythos. Really good stuff.

Quote from: beejazz;290284An Akira game based on the manga, and minus the uber-psychics (there are a lot of lower level psychics that shouldn't be such a problem... pretty much everybody but kaneda, akira, and the three kids...) would be really freaking awesome. There might be separate setting write ups for pre and post destruction tokyo for that too.

Kanedaaaaaaaa? I think you mean... Tetsuoooooooooo!

Silent Mobius.  Loved the manga and the two movies from it.  The anime series was a bit lackluster though.  But man the comic rocked.

Battle Angel Alita.  Another manga, one hell of a bad ass manga.  The anime version of it... kicked ass as well.

My personal preference would be that they would come using Interlok from Cyberpunk 2020 or Fuzion done well (Artesia well).  Using a load of the art from the comics for illustrations.

Ah well... I can dream.
Truly Rural dot com my own little hole on the web.

RPG Haven choice.

Record of Lodoss War, both the OVA and the Series, written up as a setting for all versions of D&D and its Retro-Clones and Pathfinder. I'd love to see that since the idea for the anime originally came from a D&D campaign IIRC.
"Meh."

Dr Rotwang!

I wanna see one being played by me, god damn it.

Huh?  Oh, uh, "How 'bout a game based on The Dresden Files?", he said, knowing fully well what he meant.  Or a Blade Runner supplement for...I dunno, some game or other.

Well, a generic Bukowski game would be fine.
The past lives on in your front room
The poor still weak the rich still rule
History lives in the books at home
The books at home

*facepalm* shit, you're right!! How did I get those two confused?

On an unrelated note, imagine being a player in the session where Tetsuo goes giant-horrible-fetus-monster.

Players: We're supposed to fight that?
GM: Yep. Oh, and your laser is almost out of batteries.

Oh and... god what was that anime/manga... Claymore. Claymore would be a fucking awesome RPG.

I think there are some hints towards the end of the GN that Kenada is also a bit more than human. It would go a long towards explaining his crazy physical prowess, anyway.
