This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

'The Blight"?

I'm a fan of a lot of things Frog God games has put out, and I want to want to pick up and use The Blight (their new mega city). But...it is pitched as an adventure path product and was written by a guy who has mostly done adventure paths for Piazo. Adventure paths make me want to attach a giant funnel to each eye, tilt my head back and fill them both with pure bleach. So, you would think the obvious answer is 'so don't buy it'. But the advertising blurb also says it is a detailed description of a cool city, using phrases that make it sound like it also could be the great sandbox setting they should have focused on in the first place. So, is it a sandbox with an adventure path bolted on, or an adventure path being sold by a company that is used to advertising and selling sandboxes?
