This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'd like to get my hands on another copy of the Traveler board game Azhanti High Lightning. I had a copy but I loaned it to a friend some 15 years ago and have since lost touch with him. I live in hope that the friend will turn up on Facebook so I can get back in touch and get my game back from him.

Lords of Creation tops my list right now.

What really gets me about it is this:

One day, probably around 83 or 84, my parents took my brother and I to the "Little Shop of War" in downtown Akron - a rare treat for us.  There, at a table in the store, was Tom Moldvay selling his brand new game, "Lords of Creation".  We knew him from the Basic set, since that's the version of the game we started on.  That day, we bought Lords of Creation, which he autographed and Chateau d'Amberville, which we didn't get autographed.

My 12 or 13 year hiatus from the hobby started around 1993 (earlier for my brother) and sometime during that period, we sold all our books at a garage sale, that autographed LoC included.

So, what I really wish is not only to have a copy of it, but to have THAT copy.....

Same here.

I'd also like to find a copy of Aboard the Death Ship, a Traveller adventure published by Reilly Associates.
On weird fantasy: "The Otus/Elmore rule: When adding something new to the campaign, try and imagine how Erol Otus would depict it. If you can, that\'s far enough...it\'s a good idea. If you can picture a Larry Elmore version...it\'s far too mundane and boring, excise immediately." - Kellri, K&K Alehouse

I have a campaign wiki! Check it out!

ACS / LAF

I would really like to get my hands on a copy of Simian Combat and Dinky Dungeons.

There's a wargame I saw years ago that I really wanted to buy. Can't remember the name, but it was loosly based on the vietname war and the cover depicted this weird alien-looking jungle with some space troops fighting the local natives.
"Crom!", mutterd the Cimmerian. " Here is the grandfather of all parrots. He must be a thousand years old! Look at the evil wisdom of his eyes. What mysteries do you guard, Wise Devil?"

Idinsinuation

A complete set of Gorka Morka would be cool.  Everytime I find one it's books/maps only.  I'm lazy when it comes to miniatures but if I actually found a complete box I'd probably be hard pressed not to give into temptation.
