This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Mr. Azoun, we need to evac!

I should cut and paste all of this and post it to the FR list and watch them all go into collective apoplexy.

Quote from: blakkieYou too? Was your Humvee painted "sexual repression purple" with neon green flames, a full beer cooler stapped to the roofrack, AC/DC cranked on the 2kW stereo, and a license plate that read "AWESUMZ"?  Mine was.

Yeah! Except the license plate said YRGAMSX! complete with exclamation point. I'm pretty sure that costs extra.

I haven't a clue how Tim handled them, but (after watching it last night) I think that the Harpers would make a very interesting Torchwood-style organisation in this setting

Interesting idea Hastur. I was thinking it would be cool to run the Harpers like the TV series The Sheild. Kind of like a gritty police actioner - agents struggling with corruption, altruism, etc.

Were we on Nothingland, I would rep you for that amazingly cool idea. :D
"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

Well the Harpers, at least to me, would also be about collecting and suppressing high-powered artifacts dating from when the magic level was much higher, and that's quite Torchwood

The "24" idea is amazingly cool
