Time and place are no issue. You can be either player or GM. You can play a game RIGHT NOW. What is it?
For me, right now... I'd play a Labyrinth Lord game. You?
Hmm. My top-ten wish list, right now, in order of preference ...
1) GM Dresden Files RPG (using London for the city)
2) GM Doctor Who : Adventures In Time and Space
3) GM All For One : Regime Diabolique
4) GM Star Trek : The Next Generation (LUG)
5) Play Duty & Honour
6) Play DC Adventures
7) Play Eclipse Phase
8) Play Shadowrun 4.5
9) Play Earthdawn
10) Play Hollow Earth Expedition
Mongoose Runequest 2 / Openquest
Call of Cthulhu... specifically running my old 'Summer of Love' campaign
failing that... WFRP... no... wait... Classic Traveller... um... I think... but... yeah, definitely CoC first and foremost.
StarCluster 3, and i will be in an hour! :D

Soft Horizon, and it's on by 7 tonight. But first, the curries.
Well, I'm about to start running Horror on the Orient Express, so that's taken care of.
I'd really, really like to play Burning Wheel, though.
Freemarket.
Play: Legacy of Fire AP in Pathfinder 3.5 (I loved me some Alchemist fire!)
Run: Carrion Crown AP. (Something about horror themed Pathfinder RPG works for me)
Play: Something a friend has cooked up using older material converted to either Pathfinder RPG or 4th edition.
OK. Just to clarify in case I wasn't clear: I'm not asking you guys what you're playing on the week-ends or what not. If you were able to play anything -right now-, what would you play? Right now as in: right this second. Now. :)

And I answered that. I'll be running it Saturday and Sunday too, so I'm getting my wish!

Nice. And Classy. LOL :D
Anything? Automatic reminding of all the rules? People out of nowhere?
My Top 3 what I would love to be playing/running:
Mekton 2
D6 Star Wars
Tunnels & Trolls 7.5
Honorable mention goes to Call of Cthulhu naturally. New Delta Green book just got released.
Play: Qin
Run: Witch Hunter
Play? Cyberpunk 2020 - it's been so long, and I have been jonesing to play it forever.
Run? Pendragon
To be honest, I'd like to be playing in a game that I was running. No one caters to my tastes more than me. :) Probably Burning Wheel or perhaps this Diaspora one-shot that I've been working on.
Failing that, an absolutely kick-ass AD&D dungeon crawl with a fiendishly clever but fair GM and 5th-7th level characters would be groovy.

Crap...do I gotta stop at one game?
Deadlands Reloaded
Savage World of Solomon Kane
Necessary Evil
Apocalypse Prevention Inc
High Valor
Smallville
Marvel SAGA
Quote from: Tommy Brownell;402622Crap...do I gotta stop at one game?
No, and you can post several times, whenever you feel like it, with different answers, if you want to.
Right now, I'd love to run Ptolus again. With Pathfinder rules, maybe. Or 4E, with a post-apocalyptic bend to the whole setting.
Now I'm leaning more towards WFRP... with a fantasy pirate theme.
Mean Streets
or
OSRIC/AD&D
Oh, I forgot to mention Diaspora.
But my current players aren't really into scifi. :(
Well, two of them would play, but the other few were all grumpy the last time I suggested scifi. They're prettymuch into fantasy and horror, and that's about it.
REIGN: Enchiridion
Setting: Pseudo Roman
Just Dungeon Squad.
World of Thool.
Playing - WFRP 2e The Enemy Within
Playing/Running - Rules Cyclopedia with Wilderlands of High Fantasy
Running - Mass Effect with Star Wars Saga
Playing - Historical game set in the dying days of Rome at the court of Honorius.
Star Wars
Star Wars
and more Star Wars.
Maybe through in some Marvel FASERIP, to keep it from getting stale.
I have a fairly sweet, intricate Heroscape board layed out on my game table at the moment. A couple years ago, I took several of the more medieval fantasy looking figures and statted them, their armor, and their weapons for Metal, Magic, and Lore. I could conceive of a reasonably complex tactical scenario in about ten minutes, call a few friends in five minutes, switch out the necessary figures in ten minutes, dig up that character file and set up the game in another five minutes, and be ready to play before the friends could get snacks and be here.
But they would probably rather play Tunnels and Trolls. Which is cool, I guess.
I'm glad I have friends. :)
Field of Glory
GM: WFRP 3e
Play: CoC
GM: WEG Star Wars (it's too early for CoC or post apocalypse right now)
Play: Space:1889 (this has been on wanna-play-list for a long time, and the book just caught my eye)
Ringworld
Icons is at the top of my fancy list at the moment. God bless Adamant for showing you can still make a complete game in just 128 pages with big lettering and plenty of pictures.
I'd be happy to play all sort s of game right this minute, but Icons is what I'd run right now.
Honestly, I want to play a game of Blue Rose where the players are secret agents sent into a distant kingdom to assassinate the king and put a more pliable monarch on the throne.
Or maybe some Brighthammer.
Houseruled WFRP 2e (+20% to all stats for everyone) in a different setting - Wilderlands, Karameikos as it appears in B/X1, Caverns of Thracia or something similar. I'm itching to see how the houserule plays in a door-kicking, monster-fighting game.
Right now I'd run (new) World of Darkness. Werewolf: the Forsaken, or Hunter: the Vigil.
And I'd play Mage: the Awakening or Vampire: the Requiem. Or some non-D&D fantasy, like HARP or WFRP2e or MRQ2 or D&D4e. ;) Or BASH UE.
Told you I have gaming ADHD. :o
Play:
Pathfinder.
Savage Worlds The Day After Ragnarock.
GM:
Gamma World 4th Edition (1992).
Pathfinder.
Kingmaker Adventure Path - to see if they can pull off a plot driven hex crawl.
Quote from: Benoist;402585Time and place are no issue. You can be either player or GM. You can play a game RIGHT NOW. What is it?
2e Gamma World.
Play: Atomic Highway
Run: 'Grit' my homebew in low magic grim fantasy setting.

Dark Sun. I'd use the 4e fluff*, and either the 4e rules or my house ruled version 0e with the psionic rules from Caracosa.
*Which is nearly identical to the pre-revised 2e stuff, actually, but presented in a manner that I find more useful/enjoyable- i.e. not " in character."

Late 70's. DnD. Gygax's table.

I want to play 1e AD&D.
Quote from: thedungeondelver;402800I want to play 1e AD&D.
Me too.
Star Trek, as long as it isn't run using GURPS.
*is pretty sure he answered this question*
But I'd also wouldn't mind someone else running 4th edition Planscape that I could play in. Maybe.
Anything with an awesome GM and great players.

Yeah. That's a pretty good answer, too.
Agreed.

Ooooh theres a game I havent thought about in a while. I would totally be down with that.:)

Strip Poker with Adriana Lima. :D
If not that, I'm itching to play Deathwatch
This minute? Tunnels and Trolls for some light fun and heavy carnage.
Play:
I'd love to play a game I normally run like Spycraft or Fantasy Craft. They have killer chargen systems and I'd love to use it instead of just seeing it be used!
I'd also love to play Danger Patrol again.
Run:
I have a bit of a hankering to run a Pathfinder game in Scarred Lands or a game of Diaspora.
I'd love to play in a D&D game from the Basic lineage.
I'm gearing up to run something fantasy using Savage Worlds. The first setting to really catch my attention was something called 50 Fathoms, which is sort of a magical fantasy/pirate setting. Unfortunately, the books haven't been updated for the current edition of the rules and dead tree copies are prohibitively expensive. I settled on a different setting called Sundered Skies, which is post-apocalyptic fantasy based on the idea that the actual world blew up and is now composed of floating islands. I was surprised by how much I actually liked the setting after I read it, but the pre-packaged plot/campaign was a bit of a yawn.
Psion/Alan,
If you do run a game of Pathfinder in the Scarred Lands, I want to be the first in line.

7th Sea, or like someone else said, anything with a great GM and players.

Eh. Beats traveling to Pittsburgh every second Saturday of the month.
