This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What do you want to play/run RIGHT NOW?

Playing: nothing
Running: WHFRP 3e
Planning: The One Ring

DKChannelBoredom

GM: WEG Star Wars (it's too early for CoC or post apocalypse right now)
Play: Space:1889 (this has been on wanna-play-list for a long time, and the book just caught my eye)
Running: Call of Cthulhu
Playing: Mainly boardgames

Soylent Green

Icons is at the top of my fancy list at the moment.  God bless Adamant for showing you can still make a complete game in just 128 pages with big lettering and plenty of pictures.

I'd be happy to play all sort s of game right this minute, but Icons is what I'd run right now.
New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!

Axiomatic

Honestly, I want to play a game of Blue Rose where the players are secret agents sent into a distant kingdom to assassinate the king and put a more pliable monarch on the throne.

Or maybe some Brighthammer.
Gentile or Jew
O you who turn the wheel and look to windward,
Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you.

Drew

Houseruled WFRP 2e (+20% to all stats for everyone) in a different setting - Wilderlands, Karameikos as it appears in B/X1, Caverns of Thracia or something similar. I'm itching to see how the houserule plays in a door-kicking, monster-fighting game.

The Butcher

Right now I'd run (new) World of Darkness. Werewolf: the Forsaken, or Hunter: the Vigil.

And I'd play Mage: the Awakening or Vampire: the Requiem. Or some non-D&D fantasy, like HARP or WFRP2e or MRQ2 or D&D4e. ;) Or BASH UE.

Told you I have gaming ADHD. :o

What type of mechanics does Grit use?
