This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: RPGPunditYea, this whole deal is getting more craptacular by the second.  It positively reeks of "The gaming company is going to tell you how to play; we'll even have powerful NPC figures as central to the game so that we can control you through metaplot".

That is exactly what is happening here.

They have already made me not want to buy this game.

I don't understand this at all.  I was all set to give them the benefit of a thousand doubts on all this, then they confirm all my nagging fears.

I think I finally understand the "crippleware" label people tend to hand out.  They want me to pay HOW MUCH for the tiniest sliver of a 41st millennium game?

Hard to get fired up for this.
teamchimp: I'm doing problem sets concerning inbreeding and effective population size.....I absolutely know this will get me the hot bitches.
