I have not seen it happen for a while (since moderation on RPG.net got more strict), but @ one time posting a negative review or comment would get you flamed.

True that ultra tech has been out for a short time, so that might explain it's lack of review on the PT, however biotech 4e has been out for months and is still not reviewed.

As for getting it myself, I'm not buying a new copy. I bought some gurps products even after finding out what a pompous asshole jackson is, but when that pompous asshole decided to have it printed in Asia I stopped buying his stuff.

I am sick and tired of american busines sgoing overseas, and maybe if americans had started boycotting companies that did it when this "Downsizing" and "outsourcing" shit started in the 80's there'd be more decent jobs for americans today. Of course mst americans are sheep who don't have the will or the intelligence to organize a boycott anymore, unlike the blacks in the south who boycotted the busses after the Rosa Parks incident,  (and I respect them for it.)so they didn't.

Well, maybe the sheeple won't take a stand on sending american business out of america, but I will, especially when it's done by some hypocritcal maggot who brags about his american flag (Made in china or taiwan, I wonder now.) outside his building.

Until and unless SJ starts having stuff done in america by american workers and helping america's economy, I won't buy his stuff new. I'll wait till I see a used copy on ebay or something, so it won't directly profit him when if I buy it.

So that's why as much as I wanted a copy of UT4e, I'm not getting it for a while, and anyway I have the 3e versions, adapting them isn't hard.

Based on that post, my mind boggles at why you even want reviews of these products.

 By-the-way, I now have a copy of ULTRA-TECH.  It looks gorgeous...I'm reading through it to see what  I can use almost right away in tomorrow's  G:T game session.

I think Nox's hyperbole is sometimes tiresome.  But he's a GURPS fan, and we're a family.

I lvoe me some GURPS!  I just wish I could actually play it now and then.

Yes, you have it straight. Gurps books now are mostly not written by jackson, and they're well done. You can admire a product while hating the people who run the company that makes it. (How many people hate microborg but use windoze?)

I don't hate all gurtps fans, BTW, now they're you're dead wrong. I hate that toadying browntongue coal tar, I hate that maggot paladin and a few others, but many gurps players don't frequent the SJG forums out of disgust and I don;t hate them, or most gurps fans. Just some individuals and the legion of fanbois who attack anyone who doesn't give every SJG prodict a 100% postivie review.
