This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Thanks for the tip on Fantasy Grounds.

They support 2nd ed of ICRPG, wonder if someone will add all the Master Addition worlds, etc.?

And while not free, relatively low priced to host a game.

I'm sure certain games have more community support on Fantasy Grounds, but I couldn't begin to tell you which ones.

You can go on their forums and ask about it.  Maybe if there is enough interest someone will create the modules for FG.

We've used both Roll20 and Foundry.

Roll20 is lower tech. Which has benefits and drawbacks. Benefits are it takes less processing speed and bandwidth to run, so if some of your players have lower bandwidth or processing speed it runs better for them. Drawbacks are it's lower tech and just can't do all the things more modern VTTs can do.

Foundry is the opposite. It can do it all, but is higher tech so will lag for some players with lower tech stuff.

Both you can buy the adventure for the VTT and it's all laid out for you.

I have been using Roll20 since 2019.  Over the years, I have built up a large amount of content on it.  All my stuff is there.  I also have Foundry but the only thing I have for it is the Vaesen modules.  Sunk costs and all.  Roll20 is more basic than Foundry but it does what I need it to do.  Also, some of my players have older computers so Roll20 works better for them.

yes.  i found a thread where the author said he would not update the module to Master Edition.

oh well.

I am getting more done on a CauldronVTT adventure.  it wont be as slick,  but close to playing with minis on a table top, still needs a little imagination.

That sucks. Sometimes there just isnt enough interest.  There were a couple systems I tried to get people to put together and people refuse.

Well its good that you are getting something done.  Have you checked Foundry?  Maybe they have the rules there for that VTT?  They have a lot of rulesets.
