Not be going.

Life hath intruded and though, in theory, my lovely Wife suggested I drive down Friday night, play around Saturday, and come back late Saturday Night/Early Sunday morning, I'm doing the Dad-takes-one-for-the-kids-and-family-peace-with-my-brother thing and taking my kids to see the Chicago Air and Water Show.

So Doc will not be kidnapped by me, and I will not get to have my first space adverntuer in Hinterweslt's Nebuleon game, and I will not get to game with Zach and Clash and Klaxon, nor meet Abyssal Maw, nor any of you wonderful people who are going and with whom I'd love to have a beer (or club soda) and maybe even a game.

But my lovely Wife has made it her mission that I get to go for the duration next year, as well as other conventions, and supporting my gaming in every way she can (though she still refuses to play - I have got to get her to try Squirrel Attack!).

So have fun all!

 Our group almost wasn't going to go - because our Leader in these GenCon adventures with the Jail has been in the Hospital for close to 3 months.  He is getting MUCH better now....talked with him on the phone and he is determined to be there to work the table .

jdrakeh, sounds like you got the directions wrong.  It's in Indiana, not India.


I'm kicking around the idea of starting RPG Blog back up with Gen Con.  I was thinking about blogging exclusively from TRPGS, but the current blog system here doesn't quite seem up to all that I need for it.  Life has settled down a bit, and I think I can handle doing a regular blog again.  Coverage for the RPG Site will be sort of a dry run to test that, I think.

I'm hoping to pick up some d20/3/5 books pretty cheap at GCIndy somewhere.  That $5 booth was awesome last year--I hope that wasn't Titan Games!
