Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). Title. I have the setting and system pdfs of Eoris Essence. How would one actually RUN this game?

'what is eoris' Eoris is...like final fantasy...made by people who were high on some sort of drug... it is a ttrpg, they took only Final Fantasies 7, 8, and 13. I tried reading the game several times. I still don't know how to play the game.

If you ever figure it out, let me know. I have the physical books (got them for something like $10 off Amazon years ago) and, while they're very attractive to look at, I don't have the first clue what the hell the setting is supposed to be or what you're meant to do. The setting book is absolute gibberish with a bunch of made-up terms that aren't explained very well. I had to quit reading before I got to the system book, but even there a quick flip through showed weapons that were would be unusable if someone actually made them.

If the production values weren't so high, I'd almost say the game was done as a joke.

i honestly think it's a 'big questions' type of game like white wolf, not like dnd, and i think what the big question is 'what do we do with technology'??? but that's just a guess.
