Hi all. Looking for suggestions of OSR, BECMi or AD&D adventures (or linked adventures) that have a strong theme of winter and faerie lords. Looking for some inspiration for a campaign against a returning or threatening fey lord of winter/ice. Thanks.

DCC has put out Winter Holiday modules in the past. There may or may not be stuff worth stealing.

I find Paizo PF stuff converts ok, just ignore the stat blocks, so maybe Reign of Winter? I'm having trouble finding legal pdfs of it though, plenty of illegal. 

edit: found at https://paizo.com/reignOfWinter $20 pdfs x6 is pretty brutal though.

I second this.  Winter's Daughter ticks all the boxes.  I don't often run pre-written adventures, but I ran Winter's Daughter alongside The Black Wyrm of Brandonsford, and my players had a blast.

I ran both as well in dolemenwood and my players loved it. But they don't like the open sandbox nature of dolemenwood. They prefer to have a story of some kind, a goal. Since they told me ( the DM) 6 months into the campaign I don't have anything prepared. So hence my question. I do think Reign of winter fits the bill.  Retains that fairy tale setting of Dolmenwood (though it's Slavic instead of English). It also fits my setting (which is a dying earth science/fantasy setting with its sword and planet adventure later in the adventure path).

So reading through Reign of Winter now, for anyone familiar with it, I wouldn't mind replacing chunks of it with OSR dungeons. Even though I'm liking reign of winter I still think OSR does dungeons better. A lot more fighting in pathfinder than I would like.

Any suggestions on Slavic themed/set adventures that may fit? Even looking at Warhammer fantasy with its Kislev setting as well.

The second adventure is The Witch's Daughter. I've put this second on the list as it's only set during a heavy winter in the mountains but isn't necessarily winter-themed.  It's mostly set in a quarantined village at the height of winter. This one is more low fantasy, medieval, murder mystery.

Hi Solomani - Have you read/heard the audiobook of the classic Appendix N Poul Anderson novel The Broken Sword? Much of that is set in winter and has a war between the folk of faerie as a backdrop.

Volume 1 (of 3) checks in at a whopping 480 pages.  Volume 2 will kickstart at the end of the month.  It's got some Fey elements, but it's more Hyperborea meets Alaska with some Roman Empire & space fantasy thrown in.
