My googlefu fails me (not surprising, my googlefu is about equal to Sheldon Cooper's Basketball fu).  Is there an actual "Lamentations of the Flame Princess" scenario, or is it just the title of the rules system?

danskmacabre

It's a full Fantasy RPG.

There's LOTS of material for it and it's pretty cheap too.
I actually bought this some time ago on a Humble bundle deal.
It's a sort of adult orientated fantasy RPG. It looks pretty fun, although I've never run it.

There is a scenario (for LotFP) called Lamentations of the Gingerbread Princess, but I think Flame Princess is just the name of the system.

Some of the adventures are trying a little too hard for the edge, then you get insanely cool shit like Obscene Serpent Religion 2 that has a villain with the potential to cause physical violence against the GM.

Yeah, the series looks interesting.  I'm working on a long (as in several millennia long) continuous pseudo-Cthulhu campaign, and the scenarios fit pretty well for the Thirty Years War era.

Hah!  I'll have to take a look at that one.

Thanks.  It just seems like a very specific name for a general system.  After I posted this, it occurred to me that I could have just gone to the LotFP forum and asked there.

Ohhhh, if you want pseudo-Cthulhu and Lamentations of the Flame Princess, you HAVE to check out the scenario Fish Fuckers.

Also, check The God That Crawls for something a tetch less shocking for the sake of being shocking.

But Fish Fuckers is a great inversion of Innsmouth.
