Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). The Game Mastery Guide is the one book I regret getting. Between the pointless NPC list, the cannibal native americans, and all of the Story Gaming advice, I couldn't find much I was interested in.

Maybe I could give it another try, but I read through it some the weekend I got it and found most of it really crappy.

I'm a bit harsh though. I don't like most of the new base classes in the APG.

One of the best things about UM is that there was only one new class and it was a good one.

Ultimate Combat has three classes. The Gunslinger and Ninja are probably going into the box with the Alchemist, Witch and Inquisitor. The Summoner would be in the box too but I already mistakenly allowed someone to play one once.

Fair cop... I was leaving out Bestiary 2 and Gamemastery guide because I have been thinking like a player lately, since that's my current relationship with Pathfinder.

An yet, it really doesn't change the fact that the rate of PF books is placid compared to WotC D&D.
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

Running: Pathfinder Scarred Lands, Mutants & Masterminds, Masks, Starfinder, Bulldogs!
Playing: Sigh. Nothing.
Planning: Some Cyberpunk thing, system TBD.

I don't see how you can leave out Bestiary 2, especially with summon monsters or even summon nature's ally. But that's me.

I think placid is understatement. It's more like slow churned butter compared to the rate of books WotC D&D puts out, even in this day and age of few actual hardcovers.

Well I can understand parts of your reasoning. I did feel at times it  was more wordier than it should have been. But the section on Haunts,  Insanity and even the lists were good. I didn't think the NPC list was  pointless. Hell I STILL might use that in my upcoming Carrion Crown  game.

Really?! I mean I wasn't THAT sold on Inquisitor (still not) and  Cavalier (mounted combats are pain for me), but the other 4 were of good  to excellent quality. (Alchemist I love because it makes the BOOM!!  Oracle mostly because I want more curses and their mysteries are  different from actual domains. Summoner is fun because between Eidolions  and summoning monsters, it's a good class. With the new archtypes from  UM Summoner is even better now than it was at the start. Witch is fun  for me because I love curses/hexes. More hexes = WAY more fun. Same for  patrons.)

Well not sure it's THAT good. It's better for me in the archetype  section. But then I have a large soft spot for Elric. So...take that as  you will.

Actually Ninja isn't a class, it's just like Anti-paladin. It's a  replacement rogue. So if you want a straight rogue, hey there you go.  Gunslinger is getting good use in the game I'm in. But we'll see how  much it changes when UC comes out. There's nothing wrong with allowing a  Summoner. I allowed it in my Curse of the Crimson Throne game. It still  was playable even after I kind of haxxorized Scarwall. Witch too.  (though less haxxor) Alchemist still is a standard for me, and with the  new archetypes, even more so.
