As it turns out, I might be GMing for two breast feeding moms and the accompaniying dads with their newborns at the sides.
One of the Moms is a D&D Player, and loves the rules detail, but the other Mom is a newbie, so I`m not sure she`d appreciate the learning curve.
I`ve introduced several non-gamers to D&D, so no general problem with that. But the ones so far were already into Computer Fantasy Games, and knew what it would be generally.

So I`d rather take either Warhammer 2nd or the RC to GM the first session, to get a feel for how this session will turn out, how player preferences are situated.

Which published adventure has a smattering of combat, riddles, interaction and hopefully some cool vistas to start them imaginations?
I think Keep on the Borderlands needs a certain survival killer instinct, which I don`t know the new mom t have or to have not. So any adventures that come to mind?

Maybe something Forgotten Realmsy?

EDIT: I`d love to really emphasis the "sense of wonder"  aspect of gaming.

No seriously, as a parent multiple times over and having tried to do this; RUN!  Think the most disruptive, demanding, childish, infintile player you've ever had. Remember how disruptive they were at the table?  Well now you are going to have two of those. And you can't even chide them when they do, because being dependant and demanding is their very nature. The social expectation of them as it were.

P.S.  I've found that I can't even GM effectively at home anymore and playing is borderline. That's with my wife looking after the kids and NOT playing.

Run an "rescue the princess" kind of adventure except that instead of having to find the princess, they have to rescue their kidnapped children. Watch that survival killer instinct kick in... hehe...
