This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

http://www.therpgsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2349]This%20thread reminded me of a game you can play with GURPS books. What you do is take three GURPS books and concoct a campaign out of them. I'll start you off.

GURPS Callahans Crosstime Saloon, GURPS Atlantis, and GURPS Transhuman Space (Toxic Memes)

Campaign: That Drinking Feeling

The land is sinking as the sea rises. The players are stuck inside a bar as oddity after alien after strange creature comes around looking for support, advice, or even a stiff drink. It is up to the PCs to defuse edgy situations and solve the visitors' problems. The visitors then go home, having gotten the wrong message. Leading to a worsening of the original crisis the PCs must correct.
Any one who thinks he knows America has never been to America.

Sosthenes

Gee, I did grab three boks randomly and got GURPS New Sun, GURPS Goblins and GURPS Riverworld. That's gonna be a tough one...

In a world where the souls of the dying are reborn as grotesque monsters, one stould against them. His name was Severerashian and he was destined to overthrow the cold alien intelligences who made this artificial hell. Now freed from the oppression, can you cope with your weird stature and your new-found craving for blooming ear fungi?

GURPS Arabian Nights, GURPS Espionage, GURPS Reign of Steel.

As spies for Zone Washington, the PCs must find a way into the Caliph of a very important tribal resistance movement in Saudi Arabia, part of Zone Tel Aviv.  After secreting themselves into the court of the Caliph, they are discovered by enemy bioroid agents.  The only way to convince the Capliph that theya re truly devout Muslim members of his society, the PCs must recount thrilling tales to him throughout the night, and keep him sufficiently entertained long enough for their escape plan to be executed.
