Has anyone tried this? I haven't even seen a photo of the cover. Is it full of Frank Frazetta art?

The adventure from Goodman Games, Shadows of Mirahan?  Or did someone else do a new one?

I didn't know the adventure existed until now.  Has a TACKY AS FUCK "Great Price!" sticker on the front, reviews are generally positive.  You can get the PDF of this fairly cheaply, or hardcopies aren't too hard to come by.  Supposed to have art from both Frazetta and the Shadows of Mirahan comics.

Loved reading the novels in high school.  Wish they were available in digital format.

I have the Shadows of Mirahan adventure - it is a prologue to the comic and involves summoning the Death Dealer. The ruined fort battle vs Mirahan's army looks great. But it is for 4e.

The "Great Price" sticker isn't a sticker, it's actually built into the artwork.  And it's on the spine, too, so you surely won't miss that this is a GREAT PRICE.

The GREAT PRICE really isn't bad, this thing retailed for $9.99 back in the ancient yesteryear of 2010.  That said, it fucks up a really dark and moody cover.

Early on the book says that the Death Dealer doesn't actually take part in the adventure, which is probably a good thing since they do stat him out in an appendix.  This adventure is for characters levels 7 - 9, and the Death Dealer is level 28 with 1,300 hit points and an incredibly sour disposition.  The horse is "only" level 22.

Art is good, they have some brutal critical hit tables in the back.

OK thanks for the info! I guess some people got it wrong when talking about the Frazetta Death Dealer RPG as its own thing.
