Just wanted to thank some guys for information and ideas I saw on your various blogs. Christopher Kubasik's "Traveller Out of the Box" series is endlessly enlightening and fun to read. Estar's how-to for Traveller subsectors is full of good tips even if you don't do it exactly as he writes. Ffilz has made lots of interesting notes and comparisons about the different editions. And Joel Omer has written a lot of content and insights into the game and I believe is one of the writers of the "Star Are Ours" Traveller setting I just read a review of and it sounds cool even if I would only borrow a few tidbits. Keep the flame alive, gents!
(I've been reading your stuff for a while now in hopes of getting some people to play "classic" Traveller.)
(I hope I didn't mess up your names too much; I was working from memory.)
Glad my How to make a Traveller Sandbox (http://batintheattic.blogspot.com/2009/04/how-to-make-traveller-sandbox.html) helped.
You're welcome (https://talestoastound.wordpress.com/traveller-out-of-the-box/)!
And Ester's sandbox guide rocks.
You're welcome, and a great list of inspirational folks.
A few others that could be added to the list:
Jeffro
Victor Raymond
Robert Weaver
I have links to almost all of this stuff here: http://www.mindspring.com/~ffilz/Gaming/traveller-reading.html
I need to update to add a few recent posts...

By the way, if anyone feels like I missed some good material in this vein, please let me know. I might have it bookmarked and just haven't got it listed on my reading list page yet, or I might have entirely missed it.

Who's review did you read?

Yours, and it was a good one. One thing I will say for the RPGPundit is that he gives me a real, usable review and explains why he likes or dislikes something in a game.

I'll have to check those people out. Does Jeffro have a last name and is that a typo?

I hoped that was the case!

Indeed. I look forward to the next review.

I can confirm what he says about the blogs. Well, I am behind on Joel Omer, but I'd get to it, eventually, after I finish Orbital 2100 and Mindjammer:).
Also, I believe it might entertain you all to know that I'm trying to incorporate the Classic Traveller approach of "throws are customized by the GM" with much newer games;).

Definitely... I'm sick of reading or listening to half-assed reviews.
Pundit has made me buy and pass on a few different games now. My two favorite purchases have been Advanced FF and LoTFP. I know he had concerns with AFF's point buy character system but I was okay with it. The main thing is that I was given plenty of details in the review so I could make an informed decision.
So ta' for that.
