This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hypertech games.

Are there any GMs out there who aren't afraid to run a full on hypertechnological Sci Fi game that has loads of juicy transhuman and futuristic stuff in it?
If so, what gamesystem do you use? Is it just as much fun as lower tech games that you might have run? Do you notice any difference in the way the players approach problems when they have some hypertech gadgets at their disposal?

So atheists have been abused, treated badly by clergy or they\'re stupid.They\'re just being trendy because they can\'t understand The God Delusion because they don\'t have the education, plus they\'re just pretending to be atheists anyway. Pundit you\'re the one with a problem, terminal stupidity.

Yes. StarCluster 2. Of course! The whole concept of what a character is and does changes. Marco once played a robot that was actually an assembly of small hunter killer devices.

Out of all the other folks on this site I knew it would be you Clash that answered this post.
I'd like to see more games with a technophilic streak and a change in attitude towards the old fashioned low tech space opera setting. I think that hypertech backgrounds might be slightly tougher to balance gameswise but that they can be just as much fun as Classic Traveller ( which I find quite bland).
