This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So, I heard some RoLW stuff are available for DnD. Is it true? If so, anyone has some links? I remember there was a city designed, taken from that anime...
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Ahh, I don't think that there is anything official for any version of D&D based on Record of Lodoss War because Ryo Mizuno originally made the story out of his own home B/X D&D campaign.
"Meh."

I remember reading there's a Japanese language standalone game.  Wikipedia calls it Record of Lodoss War Companion.

A long time ago there was a fairly in-depth Fuzion conversion.  This was many years ago when Atomik Magick was a free supplement.

Most of the RoLW stuff comes from the Japanese Sword World RPG.  You can find a translation project for it here: http://swordworld.wikia.com/wiki/Sword_World_Wiki

I don't know about anything DnD specific, save for the fact that it basically is DnD.  It would be pretty neat to see some of it already converted to a Western system though.

Edit:  On a second look, this is a new setting for that system which doesn't seem to be immediately tied to the Lodoss setting.  Haha disregard.

Too bad because that is one setting I would love to play in.  I really liked the anime series. It's one of the few I watched.

You might want to check out Legend of Crystania, Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring, and Rune Soldier. They are all set in the same world and Ryo Mizuno was writer and creative consultant on each one (if memory serves).

It might be possible to find older editions of Sword World, which do use that setting.  But the translation issue will pose a barrier no matter the circumstances.

For those of you who want to take a look at the FUZION version, here's the link:
RoLW Fuzion

Try the zip.file download, i had problems with the direct pdf one.
I liked the Fuzion Version and it has some nice world and background information.

I will keep an eye out for that stuff, thanks.
