This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Imperator;373311I'm NOT setting the game in Oblivion's world, I'm just using the map, and mining this beauty for pictures of places, NPCs and the like.

As I wrote before I like computer game guides, and I can only recommend the Elder Scrolls Oblivion Official Game Guide.

This thing is full of maps of cities and dungeons, not just abstractions like in most guides (like the newer Final Fantasy Guides by Pibbyback) but nice and detailed maps that are perfect for use in RPGs. (Maybe I didn't search long enough but I didn't find any of those in the wiki you linked.)

Location-wise, this book is the equivalent of a year's worth of Dungeon Magazines, or Pathfinder Adventure Paths.
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.
(Beware. This is a Kickstarter link.)

Thanks for the link, really cool :)

Re: maps in the wiki, looky.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Indeed. That's why I'll use them. Also, look at the screenshots of buildings, places, NPCs....
