This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dr Rotwang!

Adobe Reader could not open 'starblazer_preview.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an e-mail attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

EDIT:  Okay, used link on site, not in post.

Dr Rotwang!

The Doctor was asked if it could be used and he said 'yes'.  Hopefully he will get a copy of the game by way of thanks.

Goddamn! At long last!

Let's see if it lives up to the hype. The art indeed looks awesome.

Downloaded and looked over 'REAL QUICK'.

Just off the top, I like the -5 to +5 range and the 6d - 6d mechanic.

First time I've heard of this game. I'm a fan of the layout and art direction, I must say. By God, it sure feels like Space Opera.

Ooh, and the "How Do I..." appendix? Every game should have that.

I am really liking what I can see in the preview.  It's very much where I would hope it would be, with scalable rules for individuals, ships and organizations.  It seems to be a slightly more trad-leaning of the FATE rules than SotC, which I also like.  It seems simpler as well.  You can do a lot of stuff with this beast.

Scalability seems to be the magic word, here.  I'm excited and encouraged to see more.

Intriguing.  It's a Fudge-based game, but they've switched over to a TimeLord-esque die mechanic, which pretty much nullifies my biggest complaint about Fudge-based games.  And the loopy gonzo space opera thing definitely appeals.
