STARFINDER...
I love the big flip maps of spaceships, starships, and other settings ....also some of the 'fluff' and story flavor stuff in the rule book.
Is it possible to run it WITHGOUT the Magic and fantasy silliness?
Run it as a straight up Space Opera setting?

Yes, on the proviso that you play it in your own Space Opera setting.
The basic setting contains all of the fantasy silliness that you would expect a DnD in Space setting to have.
You could even reflavor the Mystic class as "Psionicist" and take out some of the more D&D like specialities (Xenodruid looking at you), and not miss a beat if you want some sort of psychic class abilities without wizard stuff in there. I'd lose the Technomancer all together though- too D&D (they throw fireballs and such) but the Mystic you can have telepaths and such if you want it, that is.
I played Starfinder for a bit. Eventually got sick of it. Too much fiddly equipment focus for my taste. PCs were constantly talking on their coms to each other as they were exploring "Space Dungeons" and then running in guns blazing and were really hard to threaten. The technomancer kept spamming stupid spells, and they kept wanting their ship to strafe any big monsters on the ground, and there were no rules for it (and there was no reason to disallow it, so sure...) But, it felt really dumb in the end. Too stupid for me to continue running anyway. But it was an interesting experiment.
You mean d20 Future?
Also, I'm pretty sure some people are publishing scifi settings compatible with 5e.

Yeah... I'd say the core system makes seperating magic and not-magic doable. You'd just have to say "no magic", and rule a lot of stuff on a case by case basis.
But the setting and "fluff" fully integrate magic in the setting. There's a lot you'd have to retcon, to the point where I think you're better of just using another setting.
Honestly, Starfinder left me cold with its leveled gear and odd progression. It didn't feel like it had been fully playtested.
You could... But wouldn't it be better to just steal all the sci-fi elements you like and use a different game system that's better suited for a more pure sci-fi game?

Yeah...True..
Well its "Me" - so the other game system would be
'GURPS' but using the spaceship maps and stuff made for
STARFINDER.
