Man, I can't thank you guys enough.  I had no idea what level of support to expect, and I expect I'll need a lot of votes form a variety of sources to pull this off, but you guys rock.  I thank you, and if I'm lucky enough to win a judgeship, I promise I'll do my absolute best for you guys and our hobby to get the best games in there, period.

I've expanded my support by a blog entry. The German scene may be small, but as I'm well-respected and widely read among Forgies, adventure gamers and normal joes in-between alike, it should definitively help.

BTW, quick note, for those who asked, voting does run through Aug. 12th.

This is my last time on the stump, guys, I promise.  Really, with voting ending today, I just wanted to say thank you for all the support, those who took the time to endorse me, those who took the time to read the Q&A profiles, and those who voted even if it wasn't for me (something about my odious personal habits [read: enjoying Rifts], from what I gather).  If I do end up with a judgeship, I want to hear what you guys think--the more we hear about games, the more we might look at something a second time or perhaps in a way we just didn't see before.  While this shouldn't be all about the latest darling, neither should this be an ivory-tower exercise; it should be a celebration of the best of a hobby.  And I'll do my best, as far as I am able, to make it just that.

Anyhow, thanks, and I'll go back to posting stats for my Rifts True Atlantean Rogue Scholar now (complete with Plasma Grenades, Vibro-Sword, TX-26 Particle Beam Pistol, and a bit of candy he stole from a Vagabond).
