This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What ever happened to Splug?

I stumbled across his name on Wizards' monster challenge bracket thingamawhatzis and began to wonder: For those of you who played "Keep on the Shadowfell" what did you do with Splug? Kill him? Use him then kill him? Or did any of you keep him around for a while? Beyond the end of the module even?

My group kept him as a comic foil long after the end of the module. Eventually we gave him some levels of rogue and he evolved into a PC. Strange but true. It may sound odd but the little fucker became a killing machine later on.

How about you?
My name is Ryan Alderman. Real men shouldn\'t need to hide behind pseudonymns.

Splug escaped.  The DM brought back Splug as comic relief in Thunderspire Labyrinth.
