This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Gabob is - "Online Multiplayer Customizable tabletop with voice chat.."

http://www.gabob.com

This is sort of a general purpose virtual tabletop full of flash-based pieces, boards, and cards, and it could totally be used for roleplaying games of various sorts. Cards can be moved around, shuffled, flipped or drawn, pieces and boards can be uploaded and moved around. Voice is integrated. Neat. They had a booth somewhere kinda in the middle, and they were one of the first ones I actually stopped to check out.

So anyhow, check it out and see what you think.  I got a free beta code so I'm setting it up tonight. I think you can sign up for the public beta if you didn't happen to grab a code at GenCon.
Download Secret Santicore! (10MB). I painted the cover :)

There's not much on the website at the moment but some screenshots which look potentially interesting.  How customizable is the interface would be one of my questions.   But more importantly... how well does it work?   Looks like a potential winner.   Thanks for the link.   I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Hey all - figured I'd spread the good news.

Tabletop Network is now in private beta - sign up or contact us for a beta key.

We built the easy to use online table everyone has been waiting for. A "Table" is created by a user, and up to 4 people can join for a total of 5 players. You can immediately talk with everyone at the table, in addition to text chat.

RPGs are easy to play. You load the tabletop engine like a game, but you have a box full of general purpose pieces, boards, cards and a full set of dice(D4-D20). They can be put on the table and used by everyone. Players can point to objects. You can even drag and drop art files onto the table. Maps, Print and play dungeon tiles, even photos can be instantly used.

The host can choose a game and everyone automatically loads it. Any type of flash-based game can be played: Action, Puzzle, Boardgame etc. Anyone can create and share multiplayer flash games. The host can switch to another game and everyone stays together, still talking. Now you can really have a game night with your friends online!

There are more features and tools which we'll be rolling out soon. Let me know if you have any questions!

I signed up, but haven't a chance to play with it yet.  I'm hoping the weekend allows some time to do so.
