This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Agon, yes, it rocks.

Quote from: joewolzI've heard a lot of good things about this game.  John, can you fill me in real quick about how the system works to reinforce the theme?  Or a quick run down on how it works in general?
Here's a link directly to the 29-page .PDF sample:

I had a pass through it yesterday and found it pretty complete in explaining the mechanics and general flow of the game.  So much so that I'm very curious to see what's in the rest of the game.

Thanks Ian!  That's exactly what I was looking for!

Hey joewolz,

Sorry I missed your question... I didn't get a notification that someone had replied to the thread. Hopefully the sample will address your question. If not, let me know and I can go into more detail here.

And speaking of 300, I started a thread on RPGnet to stat-up various stuff from the comic/film in the Agon system. Come check it out if you're interested.
