My first thought was, Triggered should be the default state. But now I'm thinking you can have a Trigger Threshold, like reverse insanity from the Arkham Horror board game: you gain TP whenever something triggers you, and when you hit a certain point have a fucking meltdown (roll on a Meltdown Table?). Might need to book it to the nearest Crying Closet (there needs to be a portable crying closet magic item, like Daern's Instant Fortress but smaller), try to trend a hashtag on Twitter, or get a monster arrested or fired from its job.

I think Triggered works like descending AC. The more levels of Woke you gain, the lower your threshold goes.
The more clichéd my group plays their characters, the better. I don't want Deep Drama™ and Real Acting™ in the precious few hours away from my family and job. I want cheap thrills, constant action, involved-but-not-super-complex plots, and cheesy but lovable characters.

All adventurers are guaranteed a minimum GP per hour; they get this even if not playing (a commensurate amount of EP are also awarded for free).

I almost suggested a Minimum Basic Income, for players who don't want to adventure.  I was just trying to come up with a more grandiose way of saying it.
