Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Since PF is open gaming content.... let's create SJWfinder the RPG!!!

Quote from: Razor 007;1086647This book must have as many pages as possible; and should require a +1 Strength score or better, to be carried one-handed.  It can also be used to inflict Bludgeoning damage at-will.

Requiring a minimum Strength modifier is fucking ableist! Also requiring a minimum number of arms. What about people without arms?!

Quote from: BrokenCounsel;1086752Ditch the whole notion of XP. Instead, replace it with points given for Virtue Signalling.

Don't have a fucking clue how you make that work, but the game's automatically broken if we don't get Virtue Signalling in there front and centre as either a core mechanic or a playable class.

There needs to be something like a progressive XP stack, so some people need less to level up, and others need more.

Progressive XP stack! Great, my friend!

There has to be a "Man-Bun of Protection" as a magic item.....
"Meh."

Quote from: JeremyR;1086665Frog God actually did do a SJW edition of that, with all the editors/artists/whatnot women. (But that seems to have gone down the memory hole, with the deification of Bill Webb)

Quote from: SHARK;1086674Where from back east you from, my friend? In the Marine Corps, I had a couple of buddies from back east. One buddy was from Chicago, another was from the Bronx in New York, another was from South Carolina, and another was from Florida. LOL. How the hell did you go from the east to *Oregon* of all places?:D

I'm from Queens, NY.  I've been in Portland since I was a teen.  That was the mid to late 90's.  It was the height of crime there.  Muggings, theft and even murder were common place.  My mom had a friend she met in Mexico City that was from Oregon and she convinced us to come. I love Portland but it's changed. People are so fake here these days and they're driving up the cost of living.

I also want to make a comment about the notion of the SJW.  I haven't really encountered those people in the flesh since I was in college.  And I live in Portland!   I haven't seen those people at cons or the game store.  I think people need to chill out about them because they're all online.  They're meaningless.

I really wish that was true, I might have not gotten screwed out of a couple of local cons because the local head of the Adventurer's League thinks I am too "heteronormative" for his taste.

As a regular visitor to the city, I respectfully disagree.

I've seen, and had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with, these people at Orycon, WizardWorld, and at RCCC.  I've seen (an interacted) with these people at Guardian Games and at Powell's, and a number of other venues.

The're not fictional, and they're not contained to the Internet.  I've encountered them at plenty of other venues in the city, not just the specifically hobby-related locales detailed above.

The mellowing out comes with age to all of us. It is called "seen it before-itis" and joint pain. :) I am sure you can find plenty of medieval commentary about the brashness of youth, too. :p
Just make your fuckin\' guy and roll the dice, you pricks. Focus on what\'s interesting, not what gives you the biggest randomly generated virtual penis.  -- J Arcane

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Joint pain is very real, and it sucks.....

Looks like we've identified the problem.  Why don't you start shopping at New Seasons and complete the trifecta?

Quote from: ArrozConLeche;1086772Forget earning XP or points of any kind. That's too capitalist. Everyone gets socialized XP.

Also, you don't kill orcs. You get triggered on behalf of them and tweet on RPG.net about how other adventurers uphold and benefit from the systems of oppression that keep the orc down (because, obviously, orcs can't be anything other than a stand-in for minorities).

ALL the XP goes into the pool. And the GM decides what percentage is allowed to PC's modified by their bonuses/penalties they get based on the Intersectional Oppression Stack Feats

so for example...

A "Trans-biracial human female, vegetarian half-orc, purple-haired Bard" (whose instrument is interpretive lesbian Elf dancing) will get more XP than the normal "Bi-curious white Cormyrian male fighter".
