Sure, you can hope that the presenter will do that, but if they don't (or worse, they do but in an incompetent or even a misleading manner), it's still the audience that has to decide what to do with/about it. That said, it sure is appreciated when the presenter cites sources, but outside of certain situations (e.g., academics, professional publications) such isn't the norm.

Fuck what the wokies and zoomers think. I got banned from a zoomer discord (I didn't have a choice of venue because it was a really obscure topic) for failing to format my posts the right way. I went out my way to be saccharine, even though it was insanely difficult due to my ASD. They didn't care. Fucking zoomers told me that I was too high maintenance for them. How asinine can they get? These are people who send political opponents death threats. Somehow dealing with my completely unintentional faux pas from time to time was too much for them. I hate them. I hate them so much. I have gone through way too much shit in my life. I don't need these fucking asshats ruining every hobby I show interest in. Argh!
