This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The WokeSR are furious that regular OSR game designers are making money and getting attention by making exciting supplements in the Itchio Game Jam. What a surprise...

I'm really looking forward to what gets produced as a part of this. The early submissions are already looking promising.

Typical Pundit exaggeration. Maybe 3 people have mentioned it? But then, just like the "woke list" that got laughed to the ends of Twitter and back, you try to make this sound like some masterful act of trolling. Ooooooh, so edgy. The funniest part will be just how small in scope this ends up being.

Your video also conveniently "forgets" that Taylor was controversial already, and didn't suddenly become "public enemy number one" upon associating with you. Man, you are such a tryhard lol.

Taylor was "controversial" within the tiny community of Woke-"OSR" totalitarians because they were asking questions that weren't allowed, and not following the rules that demand they pay tribute to the self-styled "leaders" of that "community".

And I don't know about "small in scope". It's already got 78 participants, almost all of them newly entered into Itch, and six submissions. With 25 days to go.

But go on, keep pretending I'm insignificant to these psychopaths, after one of them spent 40+ hours making an hour long documentary about how dangerous I am.

Taylor was contoversial due to their "blackcat" racist troll persona, which was suspected to be them before they got outed while on livestream with you and Dollipop.

You've been railing against the "Swine" for close to 2 decades now. If "effort" is the barometer of being triggered, bro, you're vibrating hard enough to generate seismograph readings, and these people are living rent-free in YOUR head, 24/7/365.

The itch.io bundle, TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas has material from 300 creators. Their BLM bundle had contributions from just shy of 1400. This OSR jam won't come close to either.  So, yeah, I'd say insignificant. By your own estimation, these "wokesters" are but a tiny group of nutters. So, if you can only manage to drum up a fraction of the interest they do, well...

Yeah, but you're missing a key element of this whole thing... they're wrong.

BLM is wrong because they're a racist, violent (as in rioting and bailing out violent criminals), and Marxist organization that makes the world a worse place to live.  "Trans rights" in Texas is, in my opinion, perpetuating child abuse through stunning and brave gender ideology.

Just because those two causes are really popular doesn't mean they're not awful.  Conversely, the OSR itch.io "game jam" is for a good cause - creating awesome gaming content!

Also, the video embedded into the original post didn't work for me the first time I tried.  Just got an error thingy.  Will try again, but test it to see if it's just me or something went wrong with the YouTube link.

This is a claim with zero substantiation besides some SJWs saying that they feel the two people are the same.

Dude, there is no one (not even Ron Edwards) who I meticulously researched even 1% as carefully as some of these assholes (almost certainly including yourself) have done with me, spending literally hundreds of hours poring over every single post I make, every single video I film, looking for doxxing material, looking for old obscure things I wrote in a desperate quest to "stop" me.
And yet, all your side has accomplished over the last 17 years is that you've made me famous, and able to make more money than I've ever earned before, enough to have a full-time living and own my own home solely from doing one of the things I love most in the world.  Well done, losers.

Those aren't the ones to compare them to and you know it. Those are bundles, made for giving SJWs the ability to enhance their favorite hobby: virtue signalling on the internet. Neither have anything to do with actual RPGs.

Why don't you compare it to an SJW-OSR Game Jam that is happening right as we speak?

Honestly? The aforementioned Trans Rights for Texas itch thing has nothing in it that I'm remotely interested in acquiring. Even if I wanted to support their cause, I don't see anything that doesn't look craptastic. Perhaps some creators other than the ones that are currently foisting their product on it will join in and put up something decent, and I will support them. I have my doubts when reviewing what is being offered so far though.

The OSR itch thing I need to investigate further before I decide on. I had the TR4T itch pointed out to me by a trans friend first. I told them I don't have any desire to spend five bucks there for crappy content I don't want and won't ever use, and to point me somewhere I could simply make a donation should I choose to do so.

Just buying crap content to support isn't really a great option to me.

To the people who buy that bundle, the content doesn't matter. They'll never ever use it.

Hell, to the people who buy the bundle, trans rights don't matter.

The only thing that matters to them is the quasi-religious act of being able to emanate their virtuousness to others for their approval, and to condemn the sinners and infidels who dare to defy their cult.

Someone asked that exact question on my blog, and I answered it this morning.  Going to copy/paste my response below...

Yes, trans-species. The difference... I'm an adult, there's no surgery or drugs involved, and I'm not trying to deceive anyone - I appear human and not trying to convince anyone that I'm not. My being trans-species is an identification.

But thanks for remembering that I view myself as za'akier!

Abraxus

Not to mention did both the owner of the store and TBA actually verify to see if Vengeful was truly guilty of what he was accused.

Or like most SJWs of today refuse to do any critical thinking let alone any research to see if he was factually and objectively truly acted the way he did.

Nah knowing how they are some person on Twitter said avenged was racist or something similar and that is all they need. It's all about living in self imposed narrative filled bubbles.

This is a serious accusation. I assume you have a timestamp at which this happened? I watched that entire episode and don't remember any such thing happening.

Or are you just repeating gossip?

Probably the latter. Tubesnake is an inherently dishonest person.
