"Principles of play
Darkbad is a storytelling game for 1 storyteller (henceforth the "Grungeon Master") and 4 storylisteners (henceforth "players"). Never shall these numbers diverge. Each player has one player character, never more and never any in reserve unless the Grungeon master elects to run a Funnel- type story module (in which players get 5 Wretch characters each and all have to share one set of crutches)."

Can't say its the worst game I have read, but its not great.

It's horrible as a game. A fairly competent parody (and it doesn't target only "Shadowdark").

Unfortunately the humor and utility of parody has lost efficacy lately; it's become too difficult to tell whether something is parody or just all-too-common modern lunacy in real life.

I misread Anti Martial Field as Anti Marital Field.

Greater version of Summon/Dispel Boner.

Overnight Invincible Fortress: Temporarily summons a small, but indestructible fortress, appearing tomorrow by noon. Spell not valid if cast after 2:00 PM, spell not valid on weekends or holidays.
