Where I talk about more groups in the setting for my Invisible College RPG, and the history of occult groups in Intelligence Services, Revolutionary Groups, and Organized Crime.
You mentioned you believe in "magic" (or magick, whatever you want to call it) and that only 10% of esoteric material is "not crap". What do you mean by this, exactly?
BTW, a good scenario for the game would be the allegation of the Tsar and his family being killed ritualistically by the bolsheviks.

About the first question: I don't 'believe' in magic, I practice it. Any magic that requires 'belief' would be a kind of superstition.
Magic is a system, when done right, of understanding reality at its different levels, and learning how to interact with reality, within yourself and in your environment.
Regarding your second point: though I don't think that's what actually happened, it would make for an interesting scenario if it had!
