Title: Sci-Fi/Space Opera Hacks for World of Dungeons
Post by: Joey2k on February 13, 2017, 12:33:38 PM
World of Dungeons is a really lite (just 2 or 3 pages of rules) version of Dungeon World (for those who didn't know).  I've seen a few versions floating around modifying these abbreviated rules for other genres, but haven't seen one for straight sci-fi/space opera.  Does anyone know of one out there?

Never seen anything like that. You might be better off just using the hacking advice from Apocalypse World itself. Or tracking down a copy of Simple World, it's kind of a DiY toolkit for *World games without any implicit or explicit fiction attached.

There is a Star Wars hack for Worlds of Dungeons: https://sentientgames.wordpress.com/2012/12/28/star-worlds/

If you want to go with Apocalypse World hacks, I recommend Uncharted Worlds (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/162122/Uncharted-Worlds). Its more traditional in presentation than the usual AW Hacks too.
