This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I only know this by finally reading over Starship: Warden which is a megadungeon inside a spaceship.
Is the Warden that "Space Fantasy", "Space Gonzo" or "Space Post-Apoc"?

Yes?

It can be any/all of what you described and it's upto the DM to take it in the direction of Flash Gordon, Battlestar Galactica, or Star Trek.   The ship is massive enough (10s of miles long) to house whatever you want in it.

I ran a similar-ish setting using Savage Worlds and taking parts from the Interface Zero setting to fill in the sci-fi elements.
Resident lurking Chinaman

I'd choose Pundit's "Star Adventurer", honestly.  It's simple and fast and fun.

PEACE!

If you were to run a sci-fi space fantasy game that is a mix of Star Wars and Firefly, which game/system would you choose from the list below?

FrontierSpace by DWD Studios
White Star Galaxy Edition by Gallant Knight Games
Stars Without Number Revised by Sine Nomine Publishing
Solar Blades & Cosmic Spells by Old Skull Publishing / Gallant Knight Games
Fading Suns 4th. Edition by Ulisses Spiele
Battlelords of the 23rd. Century 7th. Edition by 23rd. Century Productions
All those games are meh. But since I have to pick one... Stars Without Number.

If you were to pick a game of your choice beyond this list, what would you choose?
Rocket Cadets in the 11th Dimension, from Total Party Skills.

Yeah that's what I plan on doing when I do my own Space Opera campaign. I'll lean pretty heavy on IFZ to fill in stuff I don't create on my own.

Stars Without Number. Or classic Traveller. Or roll my own ruleset with the BRP Gold Book.
