This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Say, BD, what didn't you get about CT?

Sure there are.

And actually, send me your address in a PM and I'll mail you a copy of the CT Book 1-3 reprint for you to try out. I've got about 50 of them (I'll be using them as Convention giveaways and a few other nefarious purposes).

You can post back here about what you don't understand and we can help you with that.

Not registered over there, but I had to comment on this...

Quote from: Blue DevilFor me the rules for character creation weren't clear, nothing seemed clear. It looks like a book written in a contest to have the most words in one book without everything being connected.

You should pick up a copy of Arduin sometime. ;)
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

Running: Pathfinder Scarred Lands, Mutants & Masterminds, Masks, Starfinder, Bulldogs!
Playing: Sigh. Nothing.
Planning: Some Cyberpunk thing, system TBD.

Yes, yes he should.

No I mean, like really.

I'm not sensing a lot of sincerity on the part of BD in this.  I'm just reviewing my CT book 1 on character creation and not only does it seem quite clear, I recall it seeming quite clear when I first picked it up at age 13 with only Dungeons and Dragons as a touchstone.  While I wouldn't hold it up as a model of clarity, it's certainly more straightforward and clearly delivered than much of what I've read since 1978.

I think BD is trolling for participation in his own sandbox.

Likely.

Of course, the other explanation, that he really is so thick that he doesn't understand it, doesn't seem too far-fetched either, given my limited interactions with him.

I'd be willing to sell some. No, the alien books are seperate.

Also, to clear up any confusion, these are just the first 3 LBBs printed in one slim volume. This isn't the larger landscape books.
