This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[OBS] Red alert! Mozilla users read at once!

Ok, now if you use mozilla and you've used a credit card to order from rpgnow or drivehtrurpg you REALLY need to know that due to the way those sites do things it stores your credit card # on the computer in firefox.

Obviously most people don't want their numbers stored anywhere on their computers but in this case mozilla does due to how those sites work.

If you go to make an order there and it completes your CC# as soon as you hit the first digit, here's what to do: Highlight the number and press CTRL+Delete, and the risky information gets sent to digital heaven, so it can't be trawled off your HD by any spyware.

I hope the mods here leave this us here for a while until everyone gets to see it.
Go an\' tell me I\'m ignored.
Kick my sad ass off the board,
I don\'t care, I\'m still free.
You can\'t take the net from me.

Or, you know, they could just change the settings on their firefox so that this doesn't happen (by not auto-completing shit).

In any case, we're not in the business of giving people life skills advice here. Unstickied and Closed.
