This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Wait a minute... has anyone mentioned Aquelarre? If we go, we have to honor our host country and run Aquelarre. In fact, if I was coordinating a copy of the new edition would be part of the gift bags. But that might too ambitious and also cut into the beer budget.
Just make your fuckin\' guy and roll the dice, you pricks. Focus on what\'s interesting, not what gives you the biggest randomly generated virtual penis.  -- J Arcane

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Nothing should cut into the beer budget.

Although, if Imperator is willing, I can send him instructions on how to brew his own beer or wine and we could have bottles of Barcelona Summit Special aged and ready for us when we arrive!

In all seriousness, my first choice would be for him to run Houses of the Blooded (Dynastic intrigue in a made-up prehistoric culture; sorta like Pendragon, ish, but set in a cross between Japan, Atlantis and Rome). But that's another campaign game, rather than a session game.

The beer budget is "yes, please", and it is balanced in the books by "oh god, my head".

Dude, sangria!

I'd run Shadowrun, if anyone was interested.

I should note that this is would be the second Barcelona Summit, given that I met there with Imperator and Breogan last year. :D

True that! And actually, Aquelarre is one of my favourite games and the new screen goes with a three-part adventure I wrote 10 years ago and that shames me to no end! :D Shame on us all for forgetting it.

Word. Wine is pretty good around here, too, anyway.

In all seriousness: my wife would love to do that. Bring it on.

Quote from: JongWK;540773Dude, sangria!
Only in summer, and only as a refreshment. It is not a serious drink :D

I raise my hand. It's been decades since I played Shadowrun with this rockstar-turned detective that was the grandson of Freddy Mercury because I am a fanboy without shame.

That is also true.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

I was actually joking about the beer brewing, but one of my gaming guys does home brewing of beer (which is pretty good). Give me a day or so and I will get the information on how to brew from him and start a thread about it. OK?
"Meh."

RPGPundit

I should probably amend that to "I would run anything, but it'd be better for all concerned if I actually ran a game I have experience running".
