So, today, we have a new Lion & Dragon (https://www.rpgnow.com/product/226022/) supplement, but usable in all OSR contexts. The subject? Medieval-Authentic Astrology!

In the Lion & Dragon core book, Astrology is by far the most simple and basic magical technique a magister (magic-user) can learn. Besides providing a kind of basic oracle, there's no much to it.
So, in this sourcebook, we expand that into some new directions! In RPGPundit Presents #18: Advanced Medieval-Authentic Astrology (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/233390/RPGPundit-Presents-18-Advanced-MedievalAuthentic-Astrology), you'll get:
-How to make astrological-based modifications to your starting characters
-How to make predictive astrological forecasts that modify a future scenario
-How to make predictive astrology to set the best date to do something, with bonuses
-Astrological medicine
-Making Astrological potions

For just $2.99, you can add medieval-authentic astrology to your campaign! Note: you do not need Lion & Dragon to make use of this material, it could work with an OSR system and the material is complete in the book. But hey, why wouldn't you want Lion & Dragon?! It's been on the bestseller list for three months, and it's absolutely awesome!
Anyways, give your divination-magic a boost and pick up Advanced Medieval-Authentic Astrology on DriveThru (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/233390/RPGPundit-Presents-18-Advanced-MedievalAuthentic-Astrology), or on the Precis Intermedia Website (http://www.pigames.net/store/product_info.php?products_id=909).
Pretty nifty Pundit! Thanks Good to see these ideas come together from Lion & Dragon!
I might grab that. It could be useful for Silent Legions and Godbound. Nice , original idea.

It could well be. It's focused on medieval astrology, not the modern version. The main difference is that modern western astrology is largely about pseudo-psychology, whereas medieval astrology was way more about predictive elements.

Like I said, it might happen in like a year.
This would seriously make a useful series on its own (various easy to deploy systems for different traditions of magic, divination, etc). Particularly things like astrology. I find this is stuff, even if you do research on it, it is not easy to understand 1) how it actually works on a practical, here is what the diviner does and learns, sense and 2) how to best do that in a game.

Well, this is an example of how all the magic in Lion & Dragon is done. Each different type of magic (astrology, banishing, talismans, summoning, cures, curses/battle-magic, alchemy) work in their own special ways.
Hell's blazing biscuits, this will be useful for ANY game set in even a vaguely pseudomedievalhollywoodmedieval world.
They were all OVER this sort of stuff. The oldest nonreligious wall paintings from the medieval period in England are at Longthorpe Tower. One of them is the Wheel of Fortune. If your "medieval-ish" game does not include Fortune, you're missing the boat.
O Fortuna!
Velut Luna, statu variabilis!
Speaking of which, there will later on be a supplement on the Tarot.
