As someone who enjoys reading your posts on both boards, I hope you let things go on the big purple, despite the heavy handed rules and often condescending attitude of the moderation there.

There are some moderators there that I think are pretty good at what they do (even handed/not anal). There are also some moderators there that piss me off on a regular basis. As I happen to like a lot of posters there, I tolerate the bull shit of certain mods to a great extent.

I don't really get why you're stirring this up Benoist. The mods over there are quite obviously all over this thread like a rash, so there's no real need for you to post links and generally play to the crowd. The crowd is already here.

My own experience, backed up by some posts to that thread about the discussion of Poison'd a few years ago, is that Ron and Vinny are damaged goods - even at RPGnet. This 'victory' is the death rattle of bitter old men who have been supplanted by their own children - who happen to think the music of their parents is outmoded and are charting their own course. One that rejects large amounts of the idealogy that founded the Forge.

If it's any kind of victory at all, it's a pyrrhic one.
