While waiting for the doors to open at this year's Gen Con I sat down (unkowingly) near one of those folks. He started telling the next person at the table how cool Vincent Baker and games were - he then asked if either one of us had heard of Dogs in the Graveyard or Poison'd. I nodded and pretended to be half-awake. Wasn't in the mood to do a rant that early in the morning. The other guy was trapped listening to first guy ramble on about how cool and edgy these new Indie games were.

I was glad when the doors finally opened.

Somehow I feel inspired to design a wargame where both players set their own victory conditions and can re-write them at any time.

Even so, I never did hang around the forge much.  The real victory would be to see the rpg site contending with rpgnet for total size.

I mean seriously, are ENworld links banned? Because I know there are posters there who were banned on rpgnet.  What about the Forge itself?

Give us time. RPGnet has a lot of years on us.  There was a time when people claimed that we would never equal the Forge's side, and we surpassed them years ago.

Note of course that to be fair, it should not be "total size" since something like 80% of RPG.net's forum content is not about RPGs.
