You are not ready for the RADICAL TRUTHSPLOSION that will occur here, where I share with you my OCCULT KNOWLEDGE FROM AN AGE LONG PAST, namely the age of 2009-2016, revolving around a little obscure comic known as Homestuck (This is a joke)

'What is Homestuck'? A multimedia webcomic that defined the internet and fandom forever, made by one Andrew Hussie. It is a clusterfuck of a comic. We're not here to talk about the plot, for SUCH A THING IS SANITY-RUINING, MORE THAN THE MOST OTHERWORLDLY OF BEINGS IN CALL OF CTHULHU.

I'm here to talk about the fictional game it describes and revolves around, SBURB. SBURB is an ARG that revolves around two things:

1. building up your house
2. exploring one of several planets, each customized to each player, to fulfill a long series of quests that ends in creating a new universe (and possibly becoming gods along the way, more on that later)

SBURB is a game about children thrown into an alien world to go on the hero's journey to become gods over the new world they will create. Here are four interesting things about SBURB.

1. The Land System. As mentioned before, every player who enters the Medium-accessible through a special item that symbolizes the end of childhood recieves a planet personal to them. Each planet has a Denizen which gives them the Ultimate Riddle. Solving this Ultimate Riddle gives you personal growth so you can best become a new god over the world. Or just kill the Denizen.
2. Alchemy. I won't get into much detail, but SBURB allows for infinitely varied Alchemy through the combination of items in various ways. At the end of the game, after beating the final boss, the characters must perform the Ultimate Alchemy to make the new universe.
3. Kernelsprites. Characters can throw things into a sprite that comes with the game, which transforms the sprite and the enemies of the game. If I were to throw a book like the Bible into my Kernelsprite, it would turn into Biblesprite. You can also throw people in the Kernalsprite. The sprites exist to guide players.
4. The mythological roles. Remember. SBURB is a game about Kids who become Heroes who become Gods. The roles describe what Hero and God you are. There are 12 (+2) Classes (expression of base traits, character arc), and 12 Aspects (base traits). These give you superpowers.

I'm leaving out stuff here. Especially about 4. What system would you use to play in SBURB? What do you find interesting in SBURB that you would take and use in your campaign? I've considered using the Mythological Roles in a zero-to-hero DND campaign.
