This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yep, another weird dream.

Last night i dreamed that i was looking through a second hand book-shop and came across a set of Rolemaster books i didn't know existed. It was Rolemaster wild west. Lots of great western art, classes like Wranglers, Gunslinger, Carpetbagger and Prospector. There was also a book of monsters - there were zombie cattle, Tremors-like giant wormy things, flying swarms of something. Shit, i think i even remember a possessed wooden fence!

In my dream, i nearly wet myself at the thought of buying them.

Then i woke up and thought, wouldn't it be awesome if this actually existed! I want it and i want it now.

The wild west book is damn fine.  I got my copy from Noble Knight, although we did play a bit of it years ago.

I'd be in on this shit. I've been itching to get out some of my RM books after reading through an old RM Treasure book the other week.

The folk of Kindly Meadows silently slipped off the street, vanishing behind fences and through doors, leaving the sheriff standing alone in the middle of the dusty road.  A tumbleweed, danced madly in the breeze, dashing madly about until, at last it found shelter beneath the board walk of the general store.  Silence fell, even the breeze held it's breath as the Black Reaver strode into town, a black eog double barreled shotgun the size of a cannon grasped in its unholy hands.

The sheriff flipped his duster away from the handles of his twin Mirthil shooting irons in their Brelisker hide holsters and whistled an eerie tune.  "Ah'm afraid you've come to the wrong town pardner.  I don't want no trouble so you'd best clear off before Ah have to make you some."

The undead demon paused only long enough to cock its weapon, but in that time the sheriff's peacemakers had cleared their holsters, been cocked and fired six times each with the blistering speed only a high elven gun slinger could manage.  Twelve .45 caliber, blessed, positive charged, mirthil, dumdum rounds pierced the reaver's frame.  Explosions of light and holy choruses reverberated down the lonely street as the Reaver staggered and collapsed shaking.  The sheriff began reloading both guns one handed from the loops on his belt as the monster drew itself together and began to rise.

"Hoss!" the sheriff hollared, "looks like we're gonna need yer twelve gauge gattling gun of demon slayin' dynamite after all."
