The reagan era-Traveller:2300 covers are the best in Sci Fi artwork.
Fuck, the Star Cruiser cover?!



AWESOME!

EDIT: I´m pretty picky and knowledgable about colour use, but the sun, it amazes me. What an effectful use of contrasts etc.

More variety is all the better.

 To me "TRAVELLER" is just a subset of Science Fiction Roleplaying Games.

You're not disrupting anything at all.

 Just got sick of all the medieval /Fantasy/Sword & Sorcery/Dragonslaying threads. Had a very busy work week last week , so brain was too exhausted to start a few of my own.

clash, i really want to try out "cold space" - that setup looks totally sweet!  is it self-contained, or would i need to get SC II?

maybe do some weird doctor who thing, jumping between that era, the 2300 setting, the far future of traveller. . . throw in some blue planet for spice :D

Nope! Cold Space and the sequel game FTL Now are both self-contained. They just share a system with StarCluster, nothing more.

The Dr. Who thing would be interesting... :D

the tech mix in star frontiers was always weird but still cool.  autopistols but also portable screens, FTL ships but no artificial grav.  we've had tons of fun with it, nevertheless.  your AP, ronin, is sparking a MAJOR jones to play it again :D
