This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Just talked to Neil (the owner) and it sounds like his plans to make the store a completely online store has been foiled. Apparently his distributors will no longers sell to him if he does not have an a brick and mortar store.

So, he's opening up a new store in Deephaven (cool name for a town with a gaming store) that's about 15-20 miles west of the twincities. Good news for me, that's about a half-hour closer than the nearest store to home, currently.:D

Better news yet, they still plan to have an online store that sells at 40% off retail and you can pick up the books in store, minus shipping. That's right, 40% off for shopping at your FLGS. Anyone can get the 40% (with a membership) online and pay the shipping. Check out their site here.

I also found out that one of the regulars at the old phoenix games is going to open a brick and mortar store in minneapolis to replace the Neil's shop. It will be called Tower Games.
