This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

To run would be to move quickly - unlikely methinks ;)

Last KS update was Aug 28th, 2014. He has also posted to a thread about the game over on rpg.net. So he just isn't updating his website with new info

Anyway, here is a link to drivethru for the pdf. It has a release date of 9/14 (was originally 9/4, but got pushed back 10 days for some reason). Backers got their pdf's last month

I was a backer of the Kickstarter and got a copy of the PDF a few weeks back. It's definitely complete now and it's a great looking book. There's even been PDFs sent out to us backers for one of the stretch goals too. However, I don't think there's been any word on a date for the physical copies yet. At least the book's layout and art are complete though as they've been the main causes for delaying it's release and, therefore, the wait shouldn't be too long now.

So what got updated in the new version?

Not that I know anything about the previous version.  Just curious.

I've just skimmed the new edition so far and not read through it thoroughly as I prefer to read physical books rather than PDFs. From what I gather there's been quite a few tweaks throughout but there's been some specific changes to the rules for vehicles, scale and combat.

Clay's last update said that it was at the printers and he was hoping it would be finished in the next couple of months. So there's a chance, at least for KS backers, that it'll arrive before Christmas. I guess it could be early next year for general release though. Hopefully we'll get another update on the situation in a few weeks.
